All I want to do is capture a region, but save it directly to a filename in jpg with an autonumber. I couldn't get it to work and I couldn't figure out why. Everytime, it would load the SnagIt Editor, which does not provide any autoname saving capability.
Then, out of nowhere, I tried to use the BIG RED "click to capture" button instead of using the "OneClick" and it works. This tells me that the code on the OneClick is different rather than calling the main code.
This is quite a drag because now I have to swap windows to capture screens. Not such a big deal, but that is why I thought I purchased SnagIt... to make my life a lot easier, not just a little easier.
I could try to use hotkeys, but I am concerned that they may give me some kind of side effect. If I have time, I may give it a try. I've spent enough time on a simple Quality Assurance task that could've saved me about half a day.
Sorry about the rant, but my frustration comes from the time that I now need to recover due to this.
