I am now trying to open zipped projects that are under tutorial videos. I am working on Windows 8.1 I downloaded them, unpacked, tried to import as zipped projects... nothing. Within these packages I was able to find Max Os files and other but definitely no camproj files...
How to use them?

No. They look like folders.

You have downloaded tutorial projects for Camtasia for Mac. Camtasia Studio and Camtasia for Mac projects are currently not compatible.
Where exactly did you find this tutorial?

Did you try to import them directly into Camtasia?

Yes. I have tried it in Camtasia 8. It has shown that archives are not valid

from your initial post, you say the file set has Max O's files; what are they?
also, to import a zipped project, you do not extract those files first
you also said there is no .camproj file in the extracted file set [image above?]; then the file set shown cannot be a un-zipped CS [windows PC] project file set as there has to be a .camproj file
is all this stuff for Camtasia Mac?

I tried to unpack them but could not find camproj file.
There were Max Os folders and other folders too.
Then I have tried simply by importing an original zip file without unpacking and got the message about validity (above in previous post).
Here is a short video I have made to show the problem

See Stephen's post above. You downloaded a tutorial for Camtaisa Mac. They are not compatible with Camtasia Windows.

Yup, just make sure you're on the Camtasia Studio (Windows) Tutorials section of techsmith.com, and near the bottom of each tutorial page there should be a download link.
