Outdated Screencast plug-in software

Why do I keep getting the message: "Your screencast.com plug-in software is outdated. Please update your software." when I am 50% uploaded? I re-render and re-upload and am successful the 2nd time around.

I have gone online to see suggested solutions and have followed the suggestions only to have the same message pop up the next time around.

Hi, did you try this solution: http://techsmith.custhelp.com/app/ans... by chance?

If that does not work, I think the best course at this point is to open a case with support. The error at the 50% upload mark sounds new to me, so I'm not quite sure.

I get this same error so i effectively can't upload videos to screencast. This is a real bummer. Maybe it's just me but with noise removal not working and being unable to upload videos to screencast it seems like C8 is bug ridden and might have been released too soon.

Just upgraded to 8 and I am having this problem as well. @Mike's solution above does not have any effect. I am using only standard characters.

I have also crashed 8 a few times now. Agree with @James - released too soon?

Hi there,

I am also going through this frustration. Did you guys resolve this issue in new update? Please get back to us asap. This is really annoying and each time we can't keep doing manual uploads because we need some automated system in place for day to day work.
