If I get the $49/yr. snagit subscription for images and related, can I use those images standalone on a website or part of a public posting?

Yes, you can. The full terms are here:
https://library.techsmith.com/snagit/termsofservice

But, basically, you can use it for your website, for your videos, in content that you sell. You can't:
* Resell the assets themselves
* Put it on a T-shirt, or similar, and sell that.

Donated to homeless shelter. Now everyone will think Portland, Oregon's indigent are huge fans of French horns and screen capture software.

LMAO, one of my favorite T-Shirts I ever received came from TechSmith. Of course there is branding all over it, but my favorite bit is on the back and it says: Take a screen shot, it will last longer or something very similar to that.

Thanks Paul. I wish the lawyers could just say it that way to begin with. ;)
