password protecting a video

I moved a video to a folder that is password protected. Then I re-clicked the URL address to see if it would ask me for a password before I watched my video, but it did not do that. How do I add a password to the file itself so people have to type in a password to view the video? The URL link is clickable from one of my webpages.

If you are signed in to screencast.com when you click the link you will be able to see the content because you are the content owner. To test the workflow for your end users, try logging out of screencast.com first, use a different web browser, or better yet, try private browsing (incognito) mode.
