Paste Plain Text

I'm often copying content from Word or other documents into the text of my Camtasia productions, and I always have to keep Notepad open in the background to clear out the formatting before I do so. It would be very helpful if Camtasia supported something like the "CTRL+SHIFT+V" shortcut in Google Chrome that pastes the plain text from the clipboard and dumps any styling.

It would be nice to have a setting to control plain text / rich text formatting when pasting as its a real pain to paste into another app to strip formatting all the time.

I would love this! I am also copying content from our scripts in Word into Camtasia. Having to reformat pasted text over and over is time consuming.
Unfortunately I can't use the workaround because we aren't allowed to install unapproved software on our work PCs, and the approval workflow is to much of  a hassle for such a small program.

How To Remove Formatting

Another easy way to do this is to use the old Windows standby method of pasting the text into a Notepad doc, then copying it. Notepad removes all formatting by default and it's built into windows, so there's no issue with third-party applications. It's easy enough to keep a blank Notepad doc open in your taskbar.
