I have a long scrolling capture that I want to convert to a PDF. But all options I have tried breaks the capture into pages. I want just one long PDF. How do I turn off pagination and have a PDF that has the entire capture with no page breaks?

Well you posted this question in the Camtasia forum and to start Camtasia does not have a option to save to PDF.

If this is about Snagit, it can save to PDF but you won't be able to do what you want in Snagit either.

I don't know of any way that you can make a PDF with one really long page and no page breaks.

My question would be why you are wanting to do this?

The problem I can see is that it would create problems for the end users that would want to print the PDF or with the program that they use to read the PDF.

I once faced a situation using an authoring program in which my client wanted a scrollable window for a PDF file.  The only way I could make a long-scrolling single-page PDF was to put the entire text of the PDF into an HTML page, print the page to a new PDF using a page-print extension, then import the resulting long PDF into the program.  It worked -- and it looked terrible.  I ended up taking the same text file that I had used for the HTML, inserting it as a long text box.

All of that being said ... what a frustrating use of time!
