Play a sound when capture is complete.

As a software developer, I take many screen shots throughout the day to document changes to various applications and web sites. However, I move at a pretty rapid pace and I may fat-finger or miss the hot key for the particular type of capture I'm doing.

I could use some sort of confirmation that capture completed successfully. Given that my eyes are focused somewhere else, the ability to turn on an audio confirmation from SnagIt or a Windows tray notification would be useful.

Hey Ed,

I don't know what version of SnagIt you're using.
SnagIt 12 and previous versions have Audible Alerts.

If you're running SnagIt 13 I don't know if this is a practical solution for you or not.
You could download and install SnagIt 12. A SnagIt 13 Key activates all previous versions and the programs share the same data store.
So all files in SnagIt 13's library Could be found in SnagIt 12's if they are saved in the same location.

You can download and install a new or an older version from this link.

Maybe audible alerts will return, until then. It's an option.

Look for a clipboard manager that will sound-off for you.  As long as you send a copy to the clipboard it will sound off.
