Camtasia player playbar not working on first view in Docebo LMS

I am testing hot spots in video output to take a learner to a survey at the end of the vid, for inclusion in our Docebo LMS account.  Rendered with SCORM 1.2 and 2004.  In both instances, on the initial play, the video plays, but the TechSmith playbar does nothing and clicking anywhere on the bar or video itself does nothing.  This of course makes the hot spots not work as the video does not pause. The second time around (replay), all is well.  Any time the vid loads from the LMS listing, it does not work. The LMS did remember the where the view last was, so the connection to the LMS does seem to be there, at least.

Has anyone else run into this sitch with the playbar/nothing clickable (no pause, play, gear icon, nothing, first time around)?  Using Camtasia v2019.0.9 (Build 17643) on windows.

Hi Tim,

Are you seeing the same behavior you described in different web browsers?  If so what browsers have you tested?

From your description it sounds like the LMS is not configured to serve MP4 video correctly.  For some servers the MP4 file will playback, but it will not let you seek the video.  Without seeking, the progress bar, hotspots and Table of Contents will not work correctly.

You can try contacting their support and ask them about this.

Let me know what you find out.

Thanks for the reply Ben.  I am seeing it in multiple browsers, both Windows and Mac. THe LMS does seem to be set up correctly, as far as our Admin says anyway, and the seeking works perfectly on the replay, just not the original play.  We'll continue to check things out on our end, but if anyone has any similar issues or suggestions I am open to hearing them for sure!

FYI...it appears to be a browser issue with FireFox. Other SCORM packages (not Camtasia based) are fine in FireFox.  And we had an issue with another video that had an ampersand in the title.  Thanx again for your assistance Ben.
