I vote for anything we find via menus to be a candidate we can add.

Cheers... Rick :)

I agree.  Both resize image and canvas were allowed to be toolbar items in version 12.

In general, any menu item should be able to be put on the [one-click] tool bar as well as be assignable as a keyboard shortcut.  One click or one keystroke is almost always better than two or more.  Snagit is awesome.

Ah, the resize "icon/button" is at the bottom of the editor window where it shows the size of the capture.  click on that and it is editable.  I would still prefer a keyboard shortcut though.

Yes, that would be great as I use the Resize image dozens of times each day. The old version would let you add it to the window toolbar, but this new version does not.

I AGREE! I have missed having that Resize shortcut ever since TechSmith changed their UI a couple of releases ago. I use Resize multiple times a day, even though I have profiles that takes the screen shot at 75% and also 50% of full size. PLEASE add that to the toolbar choices. IMO, you should offer the ability to add ANY selection that appears in the menu into the toolbar. Why not?

Further since you make me invoke a resize dialog, there is no FOCUS on it when it appears, so I have to pick up/move the mouse and click into the Width field to select and modify the size (Height will take on the same value, typically what I want). Then I can use the Tab button to move first to the Advanced field and then to Apply. I am a keyboard person, please fix this. What I say in this second paragraph has been true for as long as I can remember (long-time SnagIt user). I just wish you'd finally fix this. Give me a keyboard shortcut (like you offer with Flatten (Ctrl+ T) and a toolbar button.

Absolutely! I did upgrade a couple of versions ago to this new UI, but after finding several 'must have' buttons were not available, I downgraded back to that version. However, due to a new machine and the old version failing, HAD to upgrade to this new UI. Biggest issues have been the lack of ToolBar customization. If they just gave us Hot Keys, I could get by just fine, but the menu selection process via multiple mouse clicks slows productivity.

I just installed the new release after using a release 10 years old.  Resizing is a very very common thing to do and was available in the old release just by dragging.  To make a user do several clicks to get to it, is very cumbersome.  In fact is should be a Right Mouse Click and pick from the menu type of item within the Editor.  In fact the Right Mouse Click menu should be customizable (and it is not).
