I've been working with Camtasia Studio for sometime now and its a very nice program.

Currently I am trying to spice up my videos with additions like having my screen cast showing on the background while a live video (not a webcam) appears also on the screen like what Byju's is doing here:

Please can anybody help me with  the software or technology that will achieve this either with or without Camtasia.

Thanks.

You need to record yourself in front of a solid colored back ground and remove the background. Green and Blue tends to work the best. You also cannot be wearing anything that is the color of your background.
Then, you can use the remove a color feature in Camtasia to remove the background.
The video of you is placed on top of the video you want to use as your background.

Hello,
There are certainly people in this community who will know exactly what to use to create this effect and can help you along.

Overall, as a general process, this should get you close to what you need:
  1. The talking man is sitting in front of a green/blue screen and is recording himself either with a webcam or other camera.
  2. He has a tablet or other computer device that is displaying a PowerPoint or similar presentation. As he records this, he is also capturing the writing on the PPT. This can be done with Camtasia via our ScreenDraw option in the Recorder.
  3. Once he has the webcam recording with green screen, and the PowerPoint recording with screen drawings, he brings those into Camtasia Editor.
  4. In Editor, add the screen recording to the timeline.
  5. In Editor, add the webcam to the timeline. Remove the color of the background.
  6. The background will now be the PPT recording with the drawing and the webcam will be synched with it.
