I am trying to create a presentation using TechSmith Relay (self hosted), but I can't figure out how to download it. There is no option to buy it and every time I try to use get it, the only thing that pops up is information on its features. Can someone please tell me how to get TechSmith Relay so that I can actually use it?

Once you submit a presentation to the Relay server it will process and eventually provide a link to your published presentation. Click on the link and then click play. While the presentation is playing, you can right click and select Save video as to download it to your computer.

I can't even make a presentation because I can't figure out how to get TechSmith Relay so that I can use it. I signed up on the website and it doesn't appear that I have to pay for relay, but for some reason I can't even download the software. I watched the tutorial on how to do so, but I don't even have any kind of library and I'm not sure how to even get TechSmith Relay. Every time I click on the icon all it says is "learn more" or "additional features" but says nothing about how I can actually get the software so that I can use it.

Sorry for the confusion, but TechSmith Relay is enterprise software, purchased and managed by an organization's IT department. It is not for individual use.

From what I gathered in your posts, you are looking for a way to record your screen and submit those recordings for online viewing. The good news is that TechSmith makes several screen recorders designed for personal use (Jing, Snagit, and Camtasia) which all can share videos to Screencast.com, a service with free options. You'll find it much easier to download and install one of our other products.

Hope that helps, and thanks for posting.

Is there any way I can access my University's TechSmith Relay software as a student, or do I have to buy something else?

That would be up to the university. If they do allow there students to use the service, you need to log into the server and download a recorder from the client downloads page.
