Moving right along.  Five hours of editing completed.  Then the app crashes the box comes up and says, shut down the application or check online for a solution.  I clicked check online...about 2 minutes later it shuts down...my project was not saved...anything I can do?

If you have "Autosave" checked in the preferences settings you should be able to retrieve most of it.

Go to Edit>>Preferences>>Program tab at the bottom will be a button to open the Autosave folder.

It usually in

ueser>Appdata>Local>Techsmith>Camtasia Studio>9.0>Auto-Saves

If its not there then support would be my next stop

Open a support ticket at:
https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Or you can call them at:

It autosaved and everything was okay...then I went back in and started to made a few changes.  Something happened where a huge piece was deleted, so I'm back to where I was when I posted this.  I'll contact the support team, thank you!

I learned back in my old coding days to save a big project every hour or so, either by just hitting save (ctrl + s) or by using save as and versioning it as I go for just such reasons.  Experience is the worst teacher as it gives you the test before the lesson. Sorry you had to learn that the hard way. All others take note...
