Possibility of exporting my screen smaller than my defalut dimention size.

Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me figure out if what I am trying to accomplish is actually possible. Here goes it, basically I have my default dimention size at 1920x1080 and my video file fits properly in those specs. Proplem is that I scaled my screen caps at 200% simply because i only needed a portion of the actual screen cap. With that in mind, once I export my video, my screen caps looked way to big. So my question is, How can I export my video while showing the neccessary assets but not be as scaled/zoomed in when exported?

What I am seeking out for is quite difficult to explain, I apologize in advance for any confusion.
It would be my pleasure to further elaborate if someone could reach out to me.

looking forward to a response,

regards

Camtasia captures exactly what you see, so if you enlarge whats on the screen with through Windows magnification, thats exactly what you capture.
The monitor is still 1920 x 1080 pixels, so at full screen its a 1920 x 1080 video.Filled with your magnified assets.
The best way to capture them at their native size is to resize the recording window smaller. Like 1280 x 720.
You would need to produce at 1280 x 720.
However, when viewed in full screen on a 1080 monitor. Your back to king sized icons that are blurry because the video is scaled up.
This is a difficult game to play. You need to pick your poison. Regardless of the technique you chose, the end result only looks best when at it's native resolution.
There are many approaches to getting to where you want to be.
It's not easy to explain and sum up, as there are so many variables.

Regards,Joe
