Possible issue with Relay viewing analytics/scores

The online classes I teach are delivered through Blackboard, and I suspect there's an issue with the integration between the two systems. My students frequently complain that they're not receiving the points they should for the video lectures when I enable evaluation. Most of the time, I see my students receiving the full points, but frequently students will receive only a couple of points for a video even though they've watched it in its entirety.

At first, I dismissed this as students wanting to milk as many points as they can for the sake of a grade, but the video analytics sometimes tell a different story.

This morning, for example, a student viewed an instructional video that was worth 5 points in Blackboard. She received a score of 1.7 (rounded up). When I checked the analytics in TechSmith, it showed she viewed 100%.

Other students were showing analytics scores between 15% and 60%.

So I'm wondering first, what can affect the analytics? If focus shifts from the browser window to another window, doe TechSmith consider that time away from the video? I am, for example, a notorious multitasker. While I'm watching/listening to a recording in one window, I may be completing other tasks in a separate window. How would that affect the analytics? Second, how does the integration with the elearning platform work that can cause a 100% to be calculated as 25% as a gradebook score.
