The TOC hides unless you rest the mouse pointer in the screen. I want it to stay put. It also flies out over the video itself. Is there a way to make it stick and not cover part of the video?

when you set project properties, make the video wide enough to accommodate the TOC AND the video frame [no overlap]; then produce with auto hide off
full-screen mode can also work with some video configurations

As an alternative to producing with built-in TOC, you could consider making customised callouts, position them where you would like them to appear (you'll need to resize the media if you don't it to overlay) and make them a hotspot. It works nicely with branding too.

Jane's suggestion is a technique I use a lot; works great if the videos are also separate clips

this example shows Jayne's suggested callout approach, with main video content on right side and a PIP video showing under the button callouts menu [TOC]; all the videos are separate prodictions
