I just try to print with the snag it "printer" from and I lose part of the object left and right. I did not found any settings for margins. I need to keep scale at 1:1 (drawing). no problem with real printer and PDF printer. Can someone point me to a solution please.

Hello,
Under the Print menu, select Page Setup and that should provide the options you need relative to image size and position on the paper.

I think you confused two things. I is not about printing in snag-it, it is about printing to snag it. In a software, when you chose print, then where you can chose what printer, there is a snag it printer. It is there I want to be able adjust margins I see nothing in the setup or in the advance applet

I see. Did you confirm Paper Size or try different a different option listed under advanced?
Please forgive my ignorance, if your item is external to SnagIt with good results printing otherwise, what does printing to SnagIt do for you?

Don't you usually set the print options in the program you are printing FROM? I print to the snagit printer a lot from Excel and I have to set the parameters there. If I forget to check "selected cells" I get a mess
If I somehow remember to check that AND make sure I have set it IN EXCEL to an 8 1/2 X 11, thats what I get in the Snagit editor

yes, I try all that. It is in the snag it printer driver. in other software driver you have more paper options.
for you other question, I prefer not to answer now to prevent this to go in an other direction.
