Absolutely excellent app. Thank you very much. But you may have overlooked a security (privacy) concern. I can find no way to disable the history. Or even delete the existing history.

Hello William,

I think you must be referring to Jing? It's true there is no option to turn of Jing's capture history, yet this article may help you delete the history content.

Look to the second option in this article: http://techsmith.custhelp.com/app/ans....

Hope that helps for now. I'll change this thread into an Idea (feature request) so the team can better track it.

Sincerely,
Mike Curtis

Is there any chance to see the article? A lot of articles are not available now due to broken links.

Thanks Logan.

Looks line Option 2 is the one I need. Probably I'll also change Startup settings to run a batch file that will erase local history and then start Jing. This will erase Local history on every Windows start.

Any chance to have No Local History option? ;)

Ah ha! The first option is actually preferable. I hadn't noticed that if you LEFT-click one of the history items, a little trash icon appears. I had only tried right-clicking for the contextual menu.
Thanks for the quick response.
