Privacy settings when sharing to YouTube - we need 'Unlisted' option!

Really enjoying working with Camtasia. We just purchased 120 licenses, great program. Just one question though - In the 'Produce and Share' options - when 'Share to YouTube' is selected - once the user has entered their YouTube credentials - there are TWO privacy options - Public and Private. Will we ever get the 'Unlisted' option available in Camtasia? YouTube allows for this third 'Unlisted' privacy option, that allows a video to be uploaded, though does not display video publicly on youtube.com. We have found this 'Unlisted' option is by far the best for our school, as we can then embed our Camtasia YouTube videos onto our Intranet pages. Is there any chance this 'Unlisted' privacy option will be incorporated into your Camtasia GUI down the track? Could this be implemented as part of a software upgrade? I will keep my fingers crossed! See image below. Cheers, Alex Orr

I am not 100 percent sure if this could be added or not for the reasoning of how YouTube handles the listing of an Unlisted Video. They state once you have your video to Log In to your account and choose the Unlisted option. Then you need to send the link that is given from YouTube to the user(s) you want to have access to the video. I do not know when uploading to YouTube using Camtasia Studio if it gives you a link to the video or not as I cannot access my YouTube Account right now as I am in the process of setting up a new account.

Maybe someone from TechSmith will shed some light on this with more information. I know that is not much help but, it is what I know without being able to upload my content from Camtasia right now. Sorry I could not be of more help to you.

Update !! I just uploaded a video to YouTube with the private setting using Camtasia Studio 8 and it does not give a return link but after uploading takes you to the YouTube website link for the video and it just gives a screen stating "If the owner of this video has granted you access to this video, please login." That tells me that if the option was added for Unlisted then they would still need to input that information and I don't think TechSmith could add this because that is a YouTube thing. I could be wrong though and I just wanted to update you with what I tried. Thanks.

Thanks Fred, though not sure if you are on track with my question. I have a functioning YouTube account, and when I upload via Camtasia - with Private option selected - I get the YouTube site launching in a web browser (with me logged in) and full access to my video - which has been uploaded in Private mode. This all happens automatically with a functioning YouTube account. I am using Google Chrome as my web browser. So it is functioning seamlessly and brilliantly when either of the two Camtasia upload privacy modes for YouTube are selected (see image above in original post).
Looking at the YouTube web interface (see image attached in this response) there are three Privacy Settings available - the additional option being 'Unlisted'.
Basically it would be great if this third 'Unlisted' option could also be replicated in the Camtasia GUI.
There are also global settings which can be applied within the YouTube web GUI when logged in - It allows you to apply the Unlisted setting to 'all uploads' - though when using the Camtasia upload facility to YouTube, this global setting does not function - likely due to the fact that the Camtasia upload settings override any global setting applied on the YouTube account.
Any help on solving this workflow issue for our college would be awesome!
Cheers, Alex

I really enjoy using the unlisted feature and just noticed it gone. This was about all I could find doing a search. I hope this option returns.
