Problem with screen "ghosting"

Sometimes when I capture something with SnagIt 13.1.2 (build 7933) using Win7Pro 64bit.  There is ghosting present in the editor. See the "ghost" capture box in the editor. It just shows the outline of the capture box but is transparent. This would be funny if it weren't so annoying.

Could this be a video issue, rather than SnagIt, maybe??

Have you tried contacting Tech Support?
I haven't encountered that issue myself. It seems like an unusual bug to me.
