Hi there

I seem to be having the same problem, using Camtasia 9.1.1. I've read the article, but can't update my version of the software; the "Check for updates" button is missing... Maybe because I'm using a multi user license my employer supplied? Is there any other possibility to update?

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Stijn

Camtasia 9 will no longer work with Screencast due to security changes we had to make. There is no update to Camtasia 9 (since it is very old). Instead, you can produce your video locally and then upload it to Screencast.com via the website.

Or, you can get Camtasia 2019, which of course comes with many new features as well.

Hi Paul

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, I was a bit confused, since I work with SnagIt 2019 (in the meanwhile 2020) as well.
I notice my version dates from 2017... (!) I'll have to contact my employer; hopefully they'll want to upgrade. (For me personally it's quite expensive. :-( )

Kind regards
Stijn
