Hello,

What is the source material? Typically this is a VBR (variable bit rate) clip that looks fine watching standalone but gets out of sync on a Camtasia timeline. If it is a VBR clip (iPhone, etc.) it will need to be converted to a CBR (constant bit rate) clip to be stable enough to work with. I open these clips in SONY Vegas and convert them. Others will comment with their favorite tools.

Thanks so much for responding! I shot this with my Canon 5DMiii. Since I'm so new to making these videos, I don't have the verbiage yet. I will check out SONY Vegas. I appreciate your help!

Cameras may use VBR to offer better exposures and this is the trade-off.

Vegas would be an expensive item just for this issue; Handbrake or other simple cheap or free tools are what you need. Like this: https://handbrake.fr/
