Yesterday my project displayed the .WMV file file fine and was covering the entire canvass. Today - it only covers half the cavass with the upper half all in black.

Hi all. We're continuing to work with Microsoft for a full resolution on this issue. Today we released an 8.1.2 maintenance release which includes a partial fix. WMV files added from the clip bin or library will not be cut off.

For WMV files included within camrecs (recorded webcam video), a work-around is required. That is to extract the WMV from the camrec and work with the extracted WMV file on the timeline.

Again, we are continuing to work with Microsoft on this issue. I'll report back here with any further updates. Thanks!

Microsoft has re-issued the KB2803821 update for Windows 7. The update should fix the problem on all versions of Camtasia Studio and Camtasia Relay.
