Problems recording a webinar (audio and screen). The audio recorded perfectly but the screen recording stopped after 1 hour and 10 mins. (the whole thing should have been 1 hour 40 mins. What could I have done that stopped the screen recording?  I have recorded these webinars before with no problem.  It did happen to me though the last time too..

FYI -a little more info.  I have not changed any defaults from what ever comes standard.  I dont know enough to do that yet.  And the version of Camtasia I am using on my mac is Camtasia 2 2.10.8 and it says it is the latest version.   I can not share the files because it is a confidential webinar.

Is is possible that your screen turned off because you left your computer while the webinar was going on? And then maybe it locked?

Thanks for the thought - but no.  Both screens (my mac and my big monitor) were fully active.

Just grabbing at straws here so bear with me:
when you say that the screen recording stopped, does it look like it's still there on the timeline at the bottom all the way out to 1:40:00, or does it cut short? That is, is it long enough on the timeline but then goes black, or does it actually stop?

Another diagnostic thing to try is control-clicking (two finger click, right click) on the recording on the timeline at the bottom, and choose "split audio/video". I'm curious what happens then.

Lastly, fwiw, at the time of this writing the latest version is v3.1 (released today!).
