When I record the WEBEx meeting using the headset, the only my voice(mic) is recorded. I want to record both of my voice and other people's. namely, the both of mic and earphone of headset should be recorded. How can I solve this?

the camtasia version : 8.6

For reference, I have no problem to use other software (they have the separate setting both of mic and audio.

Record "system audio" and your microphone.  Also check your "sound" devices in Control Panel.  I have monitors that have speakers (not hooked up), and when I start Camtasia, it selected one of my monitors as my system audio device. So in control panel, sound, I disabled all 3 monitors (rt.click) as system audio devices. No more problems.

Thanks you Covney for your reply.
But When I check 'Record system audio', I encountered the following message.

It seems to be mandatory to set the format to 'trec', not avi. (but, actually, I hope to set 'avi'_
Anyway, Thanks again.

Why do you think you need to record to avi?
That's what .trec recordings are.If you want to extract a .trec recordings content. You can do that in from the media bin of the editor.

The recording is still captured as an avi.
The .trec format is a container format that captures cursor information, an additional audio track and things of this nature.
So if you extract the recording/avi, it only takes a few seconds. Then do whatever you want with it from there. Like edit in another program.

Recording directly to avi has no advantage in my mind.Unless recording to .trec is creating anomalies. Which was an issue on Windows 7 with the cursor in Camtasia 8 long ago. But that was another story.

Thank you Morgan.
I have got a good usage from you.
I have one more question.
I extracted the trec file as your guide. when I check also 'System Audio', the one more file created as .wav format. that means, using this method, the sound of 'System Audio' is not included in avi file? namely, the avi file just include 'Microphone Audio' sound. and the 'System Audio' is created separately?
I just want to create one file including both of  mic sound and earphone sound.
Thanks.

Thats the way .trec records, can't be changed. You'll just have to work with the extra file and place it on another track.
