Provide a way to manually connect Fuse, SnagIt and Camtasia to a network

I am unable to connect Fuse to either SnagIt or Camtasia. I amazed that those products do not display network connection information and do not provide a way to manually connect the products to a network. Also, better diagnostics are needed to, for example, detect if a router or computer firewall is blocking the connection/traffic.

I had that problem as well. But I was able to solve the Network Connection issue by manually telling my internet security software (Norton) to trust my devices that were running Fuse.

For some reason, in my own situation, Norton had set up during its initial setup, my desktop PC as being on a Public Network. When that decision to set up Norton on a Public Network happened, many network capabilities got blocked.

The solution that I found that worked for me was to change the Network from Public to Private. Then after that I told Norton to Trust both my iPhone and iPad and added both of the devices' MAC address to Norton.

Since doing those simple settings, I've had no more problems with syncing properly between my desktop PC and both the iPhone and iPad.

Best of luck to you, and I hope that what I've shared with you works for you too.
