Purple video without image

My video looks very weird. Can I adjust something?

This is an unusual problem.I would contact support immediately & directly.
This is a user to user forum. TechSmith monitors the posts. Assisting users at times.

Hopefully, someone will post a solution.
For this? I'm not optimistic.
Time will tell...........

TechSmith Relay had a similar problem.

I got the image from a support article. If you ran Windows 7 there was a solution.All others were instructed to contact support.

Joe, you're my hero. 

With this tip I was able to eliminate the problem. I had done parallel trials before. Snagit didn't just display video from moving screens, but static elements as well. Camtasia 2019 worked fine. With your tip, it works now.

Sooo, what did you do that corrected the issue?

I had the exact same looking screen in SnagIt when I tried using it for recording video. TechSmith engineers advised me to upgrade my video card driver and that's what corrected the issue for me.

Was that what you did to correct the issue?

I followed Joes link to 'TechSmith Relay'. 
But I browsed to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TechSmith\Features\Snagit.
There I set the 5 described items to '0'.
