Question about animations in Camtasia 2018.0.3

The attached image represents the website i'm filming. The entirety of the content is in the grey box leaving big open areas left and right. The purple boxes on the bottom are buttons that lead to individual pages. There are two buttons i need to showcase but there's not much wording for either of them so going to the page and then coming back to go to the next one looks rushed and this is what i want to do:

I took a screenshot of the page for the two buttons i need to mention. I want to show one on the left side and one on the right (the blue boxes in the screenshot) but i want them to look like they're growing out of the button that leads to them. Is that possible? I can't figure it out and would love some help. :)

Not sure I fully understand what you want to do?

However, you can use shapes to create Identical buttons including color and outline.

Then apply animations to allow them to grow into a Blue background like in the image.

This actually.............

Oh, i'm sorry. I have to protect the content of the website so the shapes I used were placeholders. The blue boxes are screenshots of pages the purple squares are placeholders for buttons on the website. Can I do the same that you illustrated with a jpg file (the screenshot of the page that would open if you were to click the button for it)?

I found it!

You put the jpeg in tiny, on top of the button so that it doesn't go past the outline of the button, then you go to Animations and use "scale to fit" from there, it can be adjusted where the jpg ends up and how big it ends up. Add a fade transition and BAM!

I'll leave the post up in case someone else is wondering how it works but this does the trick for me. :)

You're letting your annotation disappear and then the image reveals? I like that too. It might look even better that way. :)
Your initial response definitely gave me the inspiration. I love these forums to see, even if you figured it out, other ways of doing it. Thanks for your input!

Correct, no resizing of image necessary.

Fades are generally easy on the eyes. And look good to boot.
I'm fading in the image as I'm fading out the shape.
