Questions about my new Snagit Version 2018.0.1 build 594

Two questions:

1. HOW do I tell  my new Snagit Version 2018.0.1 build 594 to start when Windows starts? I've clicked on every menu and there is no Settings menu!

2. When I click Help > Register a popup appears which says Never forget your key, with a button: Sign in to save your software key. When I click that button a web page opens with only two options:

A. Sign in to Start your trial, and

B. Create a new account.

Okay--so I just bought this license and already have an account. The only other option is to start a trial of something. A trial of what? Nothing to click on and learn about it. No more info--just trust us and start this trial. I don't want to start a trial so I cannot register my new Snagit I just installed.

It is in capture preferences. You can get there by the red button at the top; when it drops pick the gear icon on the right OR right click on the orange icon in the tray area and chose "preferences"
It is near the top of the general tab - a check box.
General tip: if it is selected but not starting ... un select it, reboot, select it again and reboot and it should load. That is not particular to snagit. BTW

Hi Chris,

I'm not sure how you reached that screen from the product registration but it will only sign you in and not start a trial.
