Please replace the words " take this quiz" to "continue" and "View Quiz" to Continue. We use the video quiz feature to ask questions at the end of a video about if it was useful and to collect suggestions. If we also want to collect the user's name and e-mail then what happens is before the video launches a message appears " A first name, last name and e-mail address are required to take this quiz. Well I am certain that many clients want to collect this information but their videos may be help videos, training videos and/or sales videos. Having the QUIZ could scare people form watching them since people expecting a sales video would not want to take a quiz. Please just change the word Quiz to continue and it works for 100 % of your clientele!!!!

Hi there

What version of Camtasia are you using? I ask because when you produce your video from Camtasia 9 and you are using the Quizzing feature, you do have some flexibility with regards to the verbiage. As you click Next through the dialogs, you should see a dialog named Quiz Reporting Options. And there you should see a button labeled Quiz appearance... Click it and you have a dialog that allows you to configure things.

Cheers... Rick :)

Yes that works on the quiz but not on the flash page that appears at the beginning of the video that requires the person to enter there first, last and e-mail. It is the flash page on your screencast website that needs to change from A first name...... required to continue instead of required to take this quiz. Also at the bottom change to Submit and continue.

Ahhh gotcha.

Are you limited to using ScreenCast? Or are you using ScreenCast only as an easy example?

If you are limited to ScreenCast, you likely need the TechSmith developers to implement changes. But if you are able to host your files on your own web space, you can change what this says by editing one of the supplied JavaScript files.

Cheers... Rick :)

Yes and they should take the 5-minutes to edit their java script. My server would not stream these as well as screencast or youtube.
