I have created a 3D animation which I want to comment and annotate using Camtasia Studio.

While previewing the file in Camtasia Studio is fine, having it added to the timeline and some audio clips added, too, the playback renders almost useless.

Playback repeatedly skips back and repeats like a broken record.

I'm using an 8 core Intel CPU and an NVidia GTS 450 graphics card equipped with CUDA, so this should be plenty of resources for editing movies.

Techsmith, please check and revise playback engine.

I'm having this exact same issue. During editing of a clip recorded with camtasia's screen recording the audio skips at any edit point. It only corrects if I revert back and do not edit in that spot. Sort of useless as an editing tool if I can't chose where to edit within the timeline.
