Hey Ken,

If the pop up is showing on your screen, Snagit should capture it. Are you trying to do something like this, where a pop up occurs when I hover over the picture:http://screencast.com/t/kO6RU50E3Ws

Is that not working? Does it show up on your screen, and it's just not captured by snagit? Any additional info would be great. Thanks!

Logan, can you explain how to capture a WEB site tooltip? Using the ALT or any key for that matter dismisses the tooltip and you cant capture. Right now, the only workaround is printscreen and paste then crop. Seems like SnagIt should do this.

Logan,
I am trying to record a tooltip in Microsoft Word.

I hover the mouse over a button and the tool tip appears but when I press the Ctrl+Shift+P to activate Snagit the tooltip disappears and when Snagit opens and is ready to record the tooltip is no longer displayed and I can not record the tooltip.

Thank you for your help

A tooltip can be captured by using a time delay. Set your snagit profile to wait a few seconds after you start the capture process. Get your tooltip ready and then Snagit will do the rest.

The timed capture dialog is under Options in Profile Settings/
