Rectangle shape - double click to cover edge of screenshot

Hi,

I like to create a green border on some of the screenshot that I take.

It would be nice, if you sometimes could just double-click on the edge (within the red box) and then make the green border automatically cover/go to the edge of the screenshot (instead of having to drag the cursor to the edge/pulling the green border to the edge of the screenshot).

Just an idea...

I'm not sure I understand the issue. Whenever I apply a border to a capture, it always goes to the extreme edges of the capture.

My own guess here is that Iskandar Hussain may not be aware of the actual Border effect and is using a Shape that has been configured to provide the border?

Hi there,
Rick and David are correct, you are needing the Border tool, not a shape tool.

Additionally, you can set up a profile to automatically add that color to a capture when you take it. So, it will come into Snagit Editor with the border applied. If you set up a profile, give it a hotkey so when you want a capture with the green border, you use that special hotkey.

I think you may need a larger screen shot to show what your asking for Isk,

I think I follow you? The Red Square in your image is not an outside border. Therefor a "Shape" would be required. I can't picture how you expect the shape start and end overall.

Regards,Joe

 I'm probably overthinking it.
And the request is as simple as this ? You double click the edge. And the line shoots out horizontally and vertically to the edge of the image?
