region capture cross-hair "capture toolbar" is missing

hi there, probably I did something stupid to get into this situation but I hope there is help out there... For ages, I have been using snag-it just by clicking the "print" key on my keyboard and I'm used to getting the region capture cross-hair to select the region, plus a "capture toolbar" below the selection to define the exact frame. Now since a few days, I still get the cross-hair but the tool puts the chosen area immediately into the Snagit editor and no longer brings me the capture toolbar. What can I do to get that capture toolbar back? Thanks so much in advance!!

It sounds like your looking for the All In One capture.

It's assigned to the One Click button by default. Why that changed is the mystery?

I would open the Manage Presets Menu and look for a profile with Print Screen assigned to it. Hover over it till the box outline turns blue and left click. That will un-assign print screen.

Click the gear icon of One Click. You will be able to click and assign Print Screen to One Click.
Once you've done that.Things should return to normal.

hi Joe, thanks so much for your fast reply! Actually, my presets didn't have any hot key assigned at all (just 2 default entries, I guess). But it looks like the "all-in-one" was not active (or inactive, it's hard for me to differentiate as there is either a very light blue or a very light grey and I have no clue which one means what ;-) ) Anyway, it is working now again after clicking on it and I'm happy ! Thanks!!

File this tidbit: I have found that the button remembers the last capture so if the last capture was "Panoramic", that is whet the next one will be unless you pick something else
