when I remove a file from my Snagit  editor Library, what folder does it go to?  Does  it go to recycle (I doubt it -but when I " move to recycle bin" it does) .

My guess is that they remain in the 'C:\Users\username\Documents\Snagit' folder. At least, that's where they are on my machine if I don't 'Save as' somewhere else.

I thought David was on to something, but then I found this directory:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\TechSmith\Snagit\DataStore

As a simple test, I took a panoramic screenshot of this post and this is the folder I found the .snag file in. I have not saved the file. Instead, Snagit stored it with the its own unique filename. See attached.

Hope this helps.

And if you right-click on the image in Snagit and select 'Remove from library' and look in that folder the '*.snag' file has disappeared and all you are left with is the '*.snagundo' file. The original file is not in the 'Recycle bin.' It is NOT in the original folder that I posted either so, I don't know where it goes.
