This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Hide Hotspot Hover Text

When I hover the cursor over an interactive hotspot, this annoying hover text appears, "Hotspot: jump to time: 4:00". It exposes the inner workings of the interactivity and looks unprofessional, but I can't seem to find anyway to turn off this "feature". I don't understand why anyone would want this, but it seems this was added in Camtasia 9. Is there some way to turn it off or at least change the text to something helpful?

Hello everyone;

I just wanted to pop in here to let everyone know that I have spoken to the development team for this particular thread. They have confirmed that, as Rick Stone mentions, the tooltip is there for accessibility reasons.

As this is working as intended I would not classify this as a problem, but rather as an Idea since it is a desire to change a function of the application. As such I have changed this from a "Problem" and set it to "Idea" for future consideration. Make sure to vote for it if it is something that you find would make an important impact on Camtasia.
