remove play / progress bar camtasia 9.0 mac

I'm a bit frustrated trying to remove the play / progress bar for our Scorm videos.

I'm using version 9 for the Mac

I've seen some comments on the web about adding code from the .js file and changing the height % on the .css file in skins, but they're not working. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Michael,

Are you trying to hide the entire control bar for the Smart Player within the SCORM package? Or just a part of the UI?

Can you provide me with some more insight to what you are tying to provide to your viewers?

Thanks,
Ben

Hi and thanks for your reply. I'm trying to remove the progress bar so students don't just scroll to the end of the courses.

Update: I went into the Skins folder and edited the smart player file (css). I removed all references to the progress scubbar - that seemed to work in Firefox, we are checking on Explorer..

Thanks for providing some more context.  The Smart Player does track if the viewer has watched the entire video if you are worried about them actually watching the entire video.

We can't support manual player customization, but it sounds like you are on the right track.
