Removing a mouse pointer in Snagit 2018 -- SO EASY

Since I spend a certain amount of my time removing the mouse pointer I accidentally included in my screen capture, I'm thrilled that Snagit 2018 turns it into an object that I can simply select and delete.

This may be on a list of improvements that I never read, but it's another of those little time and effort savers that makes using Snagit do quick and easy.

Thanks, folks!

You can also create a preset that excludes the cursor

Thanks. Worked great and eliminated the cursor on my capture.

Most of my captures require the cursor. But this feature makes  concerning myself with whether or not I capture it obsolete.
So that's pretty slick.

kmurdock how do you do that? I can only get this to work if I have used the delayed menu capture feature. If I try to select and remove the cursor from an image taken from a video captured with snagit 18, I cannot.

I cannot stop cursor capture - the button does nothing. I can't find a reference to this problem. I cant use videos with a moving arrow.

it looks like the "capture cursor" toggle only works for presets or when using the "capture window" and not when using the "oneclick" feature that hides on the edge of the screen.
