Hello,
I have edited a video using camtasia 9 on my windows 10 PC, and whenever I go to render the video as an .mp4 file to my computer, its stops rendering at 24.4% most of the time and doesn't continue. I have had the video render past 24.4% however it does eventually stop at another point. This is on rare occasions. I have rendered many videos before with no issue however this one seems to have made every video I try to render, do this and I am unsure why?
Can anybody help??
Luke :)

Thank you for your info. You must re-encode .mp4 file from an iphone with handbrake or Vidcoder to .mp4 file again with the same size and frame rate with 30fps.

after that,  you must re-import to timeline again with Update media in Media bin.  In Media bin, Right mouse click on .mp4 file from an iphone and choose Update media. Then find .mp4 file that you re-encoded with handbrake or vidcoder and click on it. click on Open button and Camtasia will update media in Media bin with .mp4 file that you re-encoded and replace old clip in tiimeline.  you do not need to edit clip again. and now, you can render videos with no problem.

camtasia can support .mp4 file but not 100% to support. so you will have some problem such as can't import it or can import and edit file but have problem with render it.

.mp4 files that re-encoded with Handbrake or Vidcoder, Camtasia support it 100% with no problem.

Why is it that now, with the "latest and greatest" version of Camtasia we find it necessary to add several programs to out computers that we now have to learn how to use so that we can "work around" the shortfalls in Camtasia 9?  What will Camtasia 10 look like?  I have an idea that I will share with everyone here.

After you purchase and install Camtasia 10 and have problems with it, most likely TechSmith will suggest that everyone purchase a copy of Adobe Creative Suite and process everything in that software.  All of this presupposes that TechSmith is still in business when the time for Camtasia 10 comes around.
