Repeated rejections of login credentials that have not change

No matter how many times I try to log in, and how many times I provide my email address, so you can send me a new Password Reset request, and no matter how many times I create a different password for that email address, your page at https://www.screencast.com rejects my email / password combination, and suggests I either try another password reset by email, or create a new account. Do you really want customers to be creating new accounts, when they already have an account that should work. My password is is 15 characters long, and contains letters and numbers, and NO, I'm not a fool that can't remember it.

My email address is bobloranger@hotmail.com, and I have had the account for quite a while. What is going on with this site? This has happened to me many times before, and it sours me on signing up for additional paid storage. The ball is in your court, because I have plenty of other locations and accounts I can use instead of Screencast.com

And that other site -- GetSatisfaction -- seems to need account credentials of its own. Can you make it any more complicated?

Sorry to hear of this. I've been using Screencast.com for about 4 years. It'll take an admin to fix you up, I've never had a problem getting into the account.

After several more tries, I logged in successfully.  Perhaps my Norton Identity Safe (a password repository that fills in and submits your previously stored password) was at fault.  Finally, I removed the entry from Identity Safe and logged in OK.  Then, I put the credentials back into Identity Safe and lo and behold, Identity Safe logged me in OK.  I'm pretty sure this problem was all on my end.  Solved - thanks.

Hi Bob,

I'm happy that you got your Screencast sign in straightened out.

I just wanted to point out that this feedback site (Get Satisfaction) does not require a new login. You just have to click the Sign in to TechSmith button.

It's admittedly not as obvious as we'd like, but we have limited ability to customize what appears in Get Satisfaction.
