Replace Media in TechSmith Relay straight from Camtasia

I am pretty new to creating screencasts and have been using Camtasia to upload them directly to TechSmith Relay then sharing them with my organization. I've wanted to make some changes and update my videos to make them better (because apparently people are concerned when there is no sound). To do that currently, I must export from Camtasia then import manually into TechSmith Relay. The main problem is when I have things like hotspots that can't translate over this way. My videos are shared all over the place with links, and it is a pain to go through and update every link when I upload a new version of a video.

Thank you for this feedback! We are currently looking at how best to improve the experience between Camtasia and Relay, not just the initial sharing experience, but also around editing and replacing media.

Thank you for reaching out. When uploading to Relay from Camtasia Mac, we currently do not have the option to 'Replace (existing) Media'. Unfortunately the best option I can suggest would be either uploading to Relay so that it creates a new link (without replacing media) or export to local file, then replace media through the web interface (as you have been doing).

Sorry about that.

In regards to getting links in your videos, you should be able to export to Relay directly (Share>Relay) or you can export to local file, as a web page, then upload the MP4 from that production. Here is a screenshot showing where the Export as Web Page option is:

Please let me know if you have any questions.
