Request to fix Snagit Mac issues

Hi Wendy, great to see this public post!

I have two teeny tiny requests for snagit mac:
* Fix the "keyboard fine tune" bug that's been in snagit Mac since "keyboard fine tune" was introduced (v2)
* If at all possible, the time between a capture and the snag it editor appearing on mac is about 3 seconds. If that could be made faster, that would be awesome.

Thanks!
- Jack

I've put this request on the original thread. Fix both Snagit version so They can either use the same original file type. Or at least allow the ability to read and convert. The reason is anytime you export to another type file, the components of the screenshot is Flattened and you can not make any changes except add. You can't make corrections.

Hello Jack,

I'm not familiar with the keyboard fine tune bug. Can you elaborate?

Hi Luke,

In the mac version, start a regional capture and try to capture this post.

Start the capture by clicking and dragging and when you get to the end, use the arrow keys to 'fine tune' the bottom right corner - note the coordinates on the Magnifier change as you do this - this works as expected,

Now start another capture, but this time try to use the arrow keys to 'fine tune' the top left corner.
You should notice now that snaig it is not fine tuning, but has chosen a large region and is moving that instead. Drag to the bottom right of the post you're trying to capture, and note the finished capture is not of your intended region.

Here's a rough video of the behavior:

Luke this is fantastic!
As a mac user that often captures windows screens through a remote desktop session or virtual machine, it's SUPER helpful to be able to fine tune the beginning and ending corners of a capture!
Great work!

As of  September 20, 2017 3:45 PM  4.1.7 is out. I've updated but High Sierra is out yet. Though I have run the iOS 11 update on my iPad and iPhone.
