I would like to be able to resize the stamps window using a double sided arrow, which appears when hovering over the edge of pane. (see picture)

Enlarging this pane would increase the number of stamps that are visible without having to scroll, and more importantly, increase the size of the stamps, making them easier to see.

You can increase the size of the panel downward, but you need to leave room to access controls for the other tools.
You can't go crazy like in this image and use the other tools.

It looks like they finally fixed it so it doesn't resize itself every time you close and reopen SnagIt. I quit trying to resize that panel a long time ago because the setting never stuck. Now I'm going to try to restart my computer and see what happens.

I'm going with this layout

Joe - Thank you for pointing reminding me that it could be lengthened downward. I think I overlooked that when installing the new version, but it does help just being able to see more at a time.
I'd still love to be able to make that window bigger when I don't need so much room on the canvas or to allow the stamps to enlarge.  It would be especially helpful when working with some of the Superstamps since some of those can be hard to see without actually putting them onto the canvas.

I'm wondering if perhaps there might be some things TechSmith could do to help with this in a future update.

For example, offer us a slider to control the Stamp thumbnail size. Additionally, when you click the button to "Organize Stamps", you see much larger thumbnails and they are presented in a window that can float wherever you like. So if we also had the ability to just click and drag a stamp from that window onto the editor area it could also solve some issues.

Cheers... Rick :)

Good point! I would be willing to browse for stamps that way if you could drag out of that window.  Below is a side by side comparison of the two.

I was looking for a program that would allow resizing just a locked portion of your desktop so it would magnify just the stamp window. It's not ideal but found that if I turn on Windows Magnifier and choose 'Docked Mode', I can set the magnification to whatever level I want and resize the window how I want.

If anyone knows of a utility or application that could do this a little better, let me know. While this is kind of cool, it still feels little clunkier than I was hoping. I'd really like to be able to simply magnify this area, without having it display just what's under my mouse cursor at the time
