I'm using Windows 10 and the latest Camtasia version. For some reason the Camtasia program window is huge and it won't let me rezise it to fit my screen. Please help!

I had a similar (maybe the same) problem. I closed CS and reopened it with "Run as administrator" (WAG). In this mode, it worked okay. I reopened it as a user, and it works fine. My guess is that there are some uninitialized variables that are preserved after the RAA session. Just a guess. I am assuming you are using V. 2018.

I tried running as admin then relaunching as user with no success. I'm running the app from a Windows Surface and displaying on a second larger screen. Camtasia is the only app that does not resize to fit the screen.

I am experiencing the same problem. The issue is that I have a laptop with 2 dual screen monitors attached (I have the laptop lid closed). The resolution on the main laptop display is much larger that the two dual screen monitors. The Camtasia Studio main application must be looking that the laptop resolution and using that. I cannot get the Camtasia Studio application to resize on the dual screen monitors. It can get it to resize on the main laptop display.

Have you tried setting the secondary monitor as your main display?

This will make the laptops display the secondary monitor.Which has some drawbacks, depending on your workflow. It might suffice?

I set the second monitor as my main but Camtasia is still oversized.

I'm fixed now (this is emdiazjr) I saw in another thread about changing the resolution on the second monitor to match the laptop, the laptop didn't have the identical resolution as an option, but it was close enough and now it looks normal!  Fortunately, the new size for the laptop looks fine, so I am keeping it that way.  Actually, it may be better, it was a bit small before.
