Resizing windows to custom predefined sizes

Something needed very often is to set a window from which I want to make a screenshot to one of several custom preconfigured sizes. Unfortunately, I have not found such a feature in the Snagit screenshot utility. And the tools I found on the web are not really satisfying.

So please, TechSmith, implement such a tool in Snagit!

I'm aware of a freeware tool named "Sizer" that does this but it may not work for you since Windows 7. Seems sort of hit or miss as to whether it will work for certain apps.

I agree this would be a useful feature. I believe Camtasia Studio has this capability built in.

Cheers... Rick :)

Peter,

You can make custom fixed region captures in Snagit & save as custom profiles.

Images below show 2 steps to create a custom fixed region capture.

More on below URLs.

1. Meet Image Size Requirements using Fixed Region Capture in Snagit http://blogs.techsmith.com/tips-how-tos/meet-image-size-requirements-using-the-fixed-region-capture-...

2. Streamlining Capture Profiles

Does this help?
