RESTORE NOT SHOWING - Snagit (Windows): Manually Restore a Datastore

I just had my cpu upgraded to Win10 from 7. I have all my previous .SNAG files but unable to manual restore.

Manual Restore Database - Does Not Appear after Restore Complete.
It goes through the entire process successfully but when I open the Snagit Editor, NO FILES show up but the restore process completes and no errors just no files in the editor!
 - I follow the instructions exactly at:
https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/203732148-Snagit-Windows-Manually-Restore-a-Datastore

I am desperately trying to find a way to get all the .snag file restored... Unfortunately my incremental back up on my previous system was not happening. Thankfully, I have the .Snag files... I just need them back in the editor with year and date.

Please advise why the Manual Restore is not working in Snagit 2018 of files from my DatatStore from win 7 system. It would be cool if I could create a folder in editor and just import the .snag files by Year... that would be better than nothing.

Open to ideas or am I in trouble.

Kind Regards

I'm at a loss if you followed the instructions at the link in your post. I've always made a backup routinely that I save elsewhere in multiple locations that I can restore from. In fact I'll have to do that now to my desktop PC as I had to perform a 'Reset' on it today and have to re-install all my software. Thankfully I have that backup because my datastore was removed during the reset.

If you have the snag files, just start opening them from windows explorer and they will go right where you want them. The dates are all stored internally.. You can open many at a time and make short work of it
