I am hoping that this was a joke.
If you were the one that uploaded the video, then a copyright strike is the least of your worries.

Hello Ravi;

Please be advised that TechSmith is not in a position to retract its claim of copyright infringement and/or its claim that the content at issue was posted in violation of the Anti-Circumvention provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. As a result, if you have continued concerns, we encourage you to resolve your “copyright strike” issues directly with Youtube.

are people really that dumb?
Maybe but are the people that these scumbags target really the dumb ones?

9 times out of 10 these videos are not posted to help people get the software for free but to infect their computers.

It bewilders me that people after all this time have yet to learn NOT TO CLICK ON LINKS they know nothing about.

Personally Youtube are the dumb ones for allowing videos of this type to even post  and IMHO Techsmith should not even respond to these posts/lowlifes and simply delete them.

Just my take on it for what its worth

i agree.....the camtasia "crack" however isnt a crack as such, its just altering the registry....Techsmith could make it harder for people, and they need to, i kept extending the camtasia trial through the registry for about 2months cause i couldnt decide to have it or not, if i cudnt extended i prob wouldnt of bought it...........im glad i did worth every penny

>> Personally Youtube are the dumb ones

Several years ago I started reporting in videos that were close to being Child Porn.
I went into a YouTube forum and spoke with one of the YouTube Admins of the Forum, and he thanked me for what I was doing. Helping to keep them types of videos from the public eye.

I questioned him as to why YouTube does not flag these videos once they are uploaded.
He told me that with all the videos that are uploaded in a day, it is hard to monitor all of them.
Sometimes the software catches them, and the rest of the time, it is left up to the decent people that go on to YouTube, to flag the videos to be removed.
It is a community, and they need people like us to help monitor what people upload.
(decent people, meaning that a lot of the people that go on YouTube, do it for their own personal gain.)

Exactly as I have done similar things with not just YouTube but other video sharing sites and software companies to report of the evils. Feel like it does no good at times.

they need to do something but its hard to vet as 100million different vids uploaded every day, but a algorithm take care of that
