This is a desirable feature in preparing training videos. Is it in your roadmap?

Hey Warrior, can you explain what you mean by “reversing a video”?

Cheers!

Hi there

I'm not Warrior of course, but here is a use case.

Imagine you are recording a screen activity. Part of that recording involves typing some text. During the recording, you may make one or more typos as you type. Then you backspace over the typo. You then type the correct text. All of that is recorded.

During the editing process, you have lots of cutting and whatnot to "erase" the typo stuff and it gets tedious.

If we had video reversal capability, this would be simplified a great deal. You could have perhaps an instance of a text editor with all the text correctly typed. You would then paste it into the field. Then rapidly backspace to erase the text letter by letter.

So if we could reverse playback, we could just cut that segment to a segment of its own, apply reverse playback and it would appear that the text were being typed out all pixel perfect and all.

I'm sure there are many other uses, but this one seems to stand out in my mind as being among the top of the list.

Cheers... Rick :)

Hi,

Another use case - when recording software that has scrolling it would be VERY nice to be able to reverse the scroll if you change your mind when editing. I have had to reverse this one frame at a time, aaugh.

Cheers,
Jen :)
