I saw that about 5 or 6 years ago someone asked about rotating circles, squares and/or rectangles. I'd like to do that also! Is that option available yet??

Just for information's sake.
SnagIt 12.1 added the ability to rotate shapes

10 July, 2014: Snagit v12.1

  • Dropbox sharing (link returned to be pasted)
  • OneNote 2013 sharing
  • Ability to rotate shapes and images
  • Ability to change the background canvas color in Snagit Editor
  • Quickly enter the exact height and width during a capture
  • Removed option that forced objects to be flattened
  • Other minor bug fixes
Back then, at least on Windows versions. You couldn't elongate a rectangle. But you could, and "still can" elongate a circle. So rotating circles has its merits too. It does sounds a bit ridiculous to rotate a circle {:>)

Rounded Rectangles are. Circles distort naturally. Its just that circles don't have nice rectangular curved ends.

He he. A circle with a nice rectangular curved end?  What's one of those then? :)

There is only one radius handle and you are looking for the Rounded Rectangle shape.
