Hi. I'm recording tutorials on youtube. Is this possible to have rounded corners around my webcamera video in bottom right area of tutorial ?

  • It looks quite easy to implement ! If you write this program in Golang or Python I can help you.

I'm not a Mac user, but I understand Camtasia Mac has a masking feature you might explore for that. I'm not exactly sure where it hides, but perhaps another Mac user will pop in to advise. Or perhaps you can use the help system to find it?

Cheers... Rick :)

Rick is correct Apply the mask effect to the camera video by dragging the effect from the effect tool panel to the media you want it to effect. You can position it using the control points on the canvas. In the property panel on the right, you can choose the type of mask and in your case, you’ll want to choose the invert checkbox so that everything outside the mask will be transparent. If you only want rounded corners, choose the rectangle mask type and then adjust the corner radius parameter to get the look you desire. As with most effect parameters, you can animate them over time if needed.
